Movie review: International Film Festival

     The international movie festival is something that occurs every single year and here in Chicago we have a lot theatre and therefore we can have the opportunity to watch a couple of movies at the theatre or at home by online. Matter fact, I did watch one of the movie at home as well because I hadn't had the chance to get at the theatre , which is something really cool though.

      The movie that I watched is called The Woman King. In this movie one of the main actor is Viola Davis which is very famous though. She've been a film series on Netflix called 'how to get away murder" and that was a very interesting movie and a lot of people did appreciate it. Also, the producer name is Gina Prince. This is movie inspired from a true story and realized in 2022. 

    The woman king is a movie realized in 2022. In fact, the movie is about the Agojie, the all-female warrior unit in order to protect the kingdom of Dahomey during 2 centuries (17th to 19th). Matter fact, that kingdom of Dahomey is the actual Benin. 

    In this movie, it is very obvious that they want to show the world that women are not lower than men. Also, we can learn from that movie that women can be very powerful and be able to go to the war and fight for they rights. By hearing the title of the movie, it sounds kind of paradoxal but the idea behind is just to show the power of the women as kings be like.

    I would give a "A+" to this movie at hunted percent because of a lotta things. First of all the movie is inspired from a true story and get represented very well in the movie. Also, the ideology and the mindset that those women got is just so brave and cool. I would of course recommend that movie to everyone because it is so good.
